Tala-Who?

Bob Carter sent us a report from the Boys' JV game on Saturday.

It was a great day for the Boys JV soccer team on Saturday (9/7), as they played the Talawanda Braves at home.

As we have seen in prior games, the Cowboys’ offense was relentless the whole game. The offense kept the pressure on the entire first half, scoring a total of four goals (one in the last minute of the half). Add in a couple of great saves by the goalie and the Cowboys were up by 4-0 at halftime. The offense added two more goals in the second half to complete the six pack, while the defense combined to keep Talawanda out of the net - marking the JV team’s second shutout in a row! The final score: Cowboys 6, Talawanda 0.

This brings the record for the JV soccer team to 5-1-1 on the season.
