Run Run Run as Fast as You Can...

CALLING ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS!

Join family and friends on Saturday, October 5, 2013 for the second annual 5K/10K Run for the Kids sponsored by Wyoming Youth Services. The course begins and ends at the Wyoming Recreation Center (9940 Springfield Pike) and follows streets around the Oak Park area. Check-in time is 8:00 a.m. Race begins at 8:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for the top male and female finishers in each age group (adult and youth) for the 5K and 10K races.

Cost is $30 for adults (16+ years) and $15 for youth. Pre-registration deadline is Friday, September 27, 2013. Registration forms are available at GNC Woodlawn, Wyoming Recreation Center and www.wyomingyouthservices.com (or HERE). Race-day registrations are welcome, but t-shirts and goodie bags will be available only while supplies last.

Proceeds will fund vital programs provided free of charge to Wyoming residents by Wyoming Youth Services, who serves not only at-risk youth, but provides growth and enrichment opportunities for all youth in Wyoming. With your support, Wyoming Youth Services can continue to fulfill its mission - to strengthen our community through prevention, support and volunteerism.
