Bob Carter sent us the good word from the JV Boys' Soccer Showdown with Indian Hill.
The Boys JV soccer team took on Indian Hill at home on 9/17.
Indian Hill, a major CHL rival, always brings their ‘A’ game; and today was no different.
The first half was a faced paced game with both teams rapidly moving the ball up and down the field. Wyoming broke the deadlock on a penalty kick with about 12 minutes left in the first half. That was the only score of the half, which ended with Wyoming up 1 to 0. The second half was similarly fast paced although our Cowboys took a 2 to 0 lead on a second penalty kick. Indian Hill got on the board with a goal with about 6 minutes left in the game, but that was as close as they got. The Boys JV soccer team held on to win 2-1!
Next up for the Cowboys is Northwest (away) on Thursday, 9/19.
Thanks to Bob Carter for the report and great pictures.
