I've heard of the Axis of Evil, but the Axles of Evil? 

 

Coach Nocks sent in the following report from the Middle School Cross Country team's showing at the St. X Invitational on Saturday, September 28th.

 

Once again, the middle school cross country team had to battle against the bus company.  The bus company (which I am sure is in league with the other CHL teams) arrived to pick up the team only 1 hour and 15 minutes late.  The CC team prevailed over this obstacle with the help of its super parents, which this week acted as bus drivers to shuttle most of the team to St X to get them there in time for their race.   

This meet was the largest one the CC team has run.  There were about 28 teams from all over Ohio and Kentucky.  Again, the CC team was competing against Division 1 and 2 schools.  The team held their own and finished about in the middle.   The more impressive news is that most of the runners got a PR at this meet.
