Hopes On Hold For Hometown Hero

If we start you Friday off with some bad news, the weekend can only get better... right?

The following is from the Enquirer article:

Larry Black, the former Wyoming High School and Indiana University standout who signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent, saw his season end early when he was carted off early during Wednesday’s practice. After practice, coach Marvin Lewis said that Black had suffered a dislocated ankle and that his season was over.
The defensive tackle was vying for a spot in what was a deep defensive line. “It’s an unfortunate thing. He’s a good kid and a good prospect. I met his family the other day,”Lewis said. “Guys get hurt, but it is something he can come back from.“He gets that medical red shirt and we’ll see where he goes from there.”
