Boys' Golf Sends a Message

Coach Crider reported from the Boy's Golf team win at the CHL Preview

The Wyoming Boys Varsity Golf Team delivered a definitive wake up call to the rest of the CHL today (Thursday, August 8th) in the CHL Preview tournament held at Weatherwax Golf Course in Middletown, OH. Led by senior Henry Moore’s outstanding round of 75, the Cowboys posted a team score of 319, good enough for a 35 shot victory over 2nd place Mariemont (354). Indian Hill narrowly came in 3rdplace (355). The Cowboys totally dominated the tournament, with sophomore Sam Marty (78), senior Chris Betagole (83) and freshman Cooper Hausfeld (83) all placing in the top 5 overall for the event along with Henry Moore. The team’s play is even more impressive, considering that the final part of the tournament was played in a driving rain storm reminiscent of a scene from Caddy Shack.
The team returns to action next Wednesday (August 14th) in a critical league match versus Mariemont at the Wyoming Golf Club.  Below is a post round picture as the team attempted to dry out.
