Bob Carter sent the following from the Boy's JV Soccer Scrimmage here at home on Thursday, August 15.
The men’s JV soccer team closed out the preseason with a big 3-2 win over Fairfield on Thursday, 8/15. They open the regular season with an away match this Saturday (8/17) at Walnut Hills.
And who is that familiar face in the coach's shirt on the sidelines of the Boys' JV Soccer games? That's right, none other than Wyoming alum' Alex Kamphaus, ('08). During his days at Wyoming, Alex was the goal keeper for the Cowboys coached by the men’s head Varsity Coach Steve Thomas. Alex graduated from Otterbein University in 2012 where he was a 4 year varsity Goal Keeper. Rounding out the JV coaching staff are volunteer coaches Eric Pan, Wyoming class of 2011, also a 4 year soccer player under Steve Thomas and Matthew Bartel.
