A Whole Lotta Hardware

Coach Crider sent in the following

 

The WHS Boys Golf Team brought home a whole lotta hardware today from the Mariemont Invitational @ Maketewah Country Club.  The Cowboys easily won the 6 team invitational tournament by a whopping 45 shots over second place Mariemont.  Wyoming’s winning score of 313 was a new tournament record.  Leading the way for the Cowboys were sophomore Sam Marty (76), Senior Henry Moore (77), Senior Chris Betagole (78) and Freshman Cooper Hausfeld (82).  All four Cowboy golfers made the All-Tournament team.  Below is a picture of the Cowboys with their haul of trophy hardware from the day.

 

The team returns to action on Monday afternoon (August 19th) with a tri-match vs. St. Xavier & Reading @ Wyoming Golf Club.  The first group will tee off @ 4PM, so come on out and support the home team.
