Cowboys Go Down Swinging

Coach Kindred sent us a report from the August 14^th 2013  Chaminade Julienne Varsity Girls Tennis Invitational

 First of all, special thanks to the Lippert family, the Wilson family, the Berg family, and the Boster family -- they were a critical success factor regarding our transportation to and from the tournament.

Four elite teams participated in a round-robin tennis team competition August 14^th in Dayton, Ohio. Our singles line-up consisted of Maddie Boster, Ellen Koesterman, and Rachel Berg. Doubles consisted of Camille Wilson, Marie Lippert, Annie Boster, Ellen Boster, Rachel Carter, and Molly Izenson. Though we did not win the tournament, we had some very close matches on all courts. Rachel Berg was our lone winner at number 3 singles in the first round. We were competitive on all courts and fought hard all day. We learned we can compete at this level and will integrate our lessons learned in our remaining 2013 schedule.

Our first home match is Monday August 19^th 4:00 PM at the Wyoming Bank Courts.
