Boys' soccer defeats Roger Bacon 9-0; Ngong nets three

The boys' soccer team went to Roger Bacon to open its season last night and came home with a 9-0 victory. 

Senior Clifford Ngong took away much of the mystery as to the outcome by scoring three goals within the first eight minutes of the game.  Nick Kamphaus had an excellent assist to set up one of Clifford's goals.

Also adding goals were seniors Cory Macke and Jason Dewitt, juniors Shane Burck and Nathan Meisner, and sophomores Drew Wayman and Jared Heidotting.

Harrison Glover (1 save) and Evan Handler (2 saves) split duties in goal for the shutout.

Next up: vs. Lebanon at home Thursday - JV at 5, Varsity at 7.
