The boys’ golf team kicked off its Fall 2011 season yesterday with a 2nd place finish in the Mariemont Invitational. The Cowboys got off to a shaky start, but played very well on the back nine.
Mariemont (311) took first place and Taylor HS (329) finished 3rd, two shots behind Wyoming’s 327 score. Madeira finished 4th and Reading HS finished 5th.
Senior Adam Crider made the all-tournament team with a 4 over par 76. Also posting scores for Wyoming were senior Sam Meyers (80), Junior Max Wiethe (83) and sophomore Chris Betagole (88).
Next up: Monday 8/8, tri-match vs. Middletown Fenwick and McNicholas.
