Boys' soccer takes two from Indian Hill

Both the boys' soccer JV and Varsity sides beat CHL rival Indian Hill last night on the Bob Lewis Stadium pitch.

The JV started things off with an exciting 2-1 victory.  Carl Anderson scored the first goal and then Ryan Derge put in the winner with just minutes to play.

The varsity then took its game 2-0 ("two nil").  Jamie Meranus scored the first goal with a nice left-footed finish off an assist from Nathan Meisner and later Daniel Richtand scored on what Coach Thomas described as, "a beautiful direct kick."

Evan Handler had six saves for the shutout.

The varsity is now 7-3 (2-2).

Next up: the JV plays at home tonight against Summit Country Day at 7, the Varsity finishes its game (20 seconds of first half plus second half) with Reading tomorrow night at home at approximately 7:30
