Wyoming drops all sports

Wyoming athletes have quite a shock in store for them when they come back from Spring Break - the school has dropped all sports, effective immediately.  That's right, today, APRIL 1ST, marks the end of a proud tradition of athletic excellence.

The school board explained:  "We'd be FOOLS not to do this.  Frankly, there have been a lot of kids getting 4's on their AP tests, and this is our way of creating extra study time so they can bump those up to 5's."

Questions should be addressed to AD Scott Kaufman, who can be found quietly sobbing in his office.  A former instructor of arithmetic, he said he hopes to stay at Wyoming and pursue, "Mathletics".

(My thanks to the Corral Show, from whom I stole the AP joke.  I would have stolen more jokes, but honestly I didn't understand them, even after Baby Roundup tried to explain them to me.  Actually "Mathletics" may have been stolen as well.)
