Ultimate Update

Got this update on Wyoming's Ultimate (Frisbee) Team:

Wyoming High School's Ultimate Frisbee A team, the Jackrabbits, won their fourth straight game Sunday, topping St. X/Ursaline Academy 12-10, cementing their hold on 3rd place in the 10-team B South division of the Cincinnati Ultimate High School league. On a very windy day that saw just one upwind score, Wyoming's zone defense proved inpenetrable with the wind behind it.

Junior Eric Reichwein led the Jackrabbits with seven scoring throws and one goal catch, along with stellar defense in the back of the zone. Junior Kevin Waite had two consecutive scoring throws, including the key upwind scoring throw to sophomore Alex Kellner. Junior Khafra Flynn had three goal catches, and sophomore Sam White had two goal catches and the game-winning assist on a 50-yard scoring toss to junior Nic Woods.

Wyoming's A and B teams will conclude the regular season with a game against each other next Sunday, 4/29 at 4:30 p.m. at the Rec Center, followed by a season-ending tournament including all 25 teams in the league, on Saturday, May 5 at Gulley Park in Lebanon.
