Enquirer and Tri-County Press Fall All Stars

Volleyball
Player of the year:Haley Stewart: The second-team all-state middle blocker/right-side hitter led the Cincinnati Hills League with 301 kills and added 157 digs. She was a first-team all-district selection and was named the CHL athlete of the year.

First team
Maddie Bahr: The libero was third in the CHL with 401 digs and a first-team all-district selection.

Mia Kraft: The honorable mention all-state setter led the CHL with 785 assists with a robust 10.47 per-game average and added 239 digs. Kraft was also a first-team all-district selection.

Lydia Kurtz: The second-team all-district outside hitter was 12th in the CHL with 119 kills and added 109 digs despite missing the first eight matches.

Reagan Raymer: The second-team all-district right-side/outside hitter was fourth in the CHL with 223 kills and ninth in the league with 271 digs.

Tri-County Press All Stars
Haley Stewart: The 6-foot-2 middle blocker/right-side hitter was a CHL leader with 301 kills, 100 blocks and 157 digs. Stewart made CHL first team for league champion Cowboys.

Maddie Bahr: Libero made CHL first team and had 401 digs for the CHL champs.

Mia Kraft: The Cowboys setter was CHL first team. She had 70 kills, 785 assists and 239 digs for the league champions.

Football
OL: Eric Perry: The senior was second-team all-district.

LB: Tucker Berger: The senior was second-team all-district. He had 127 tackles in the regular season.

DB: Mason Rogers: The senior was special mention all-state and first-team all-district. He had 30 solo tackles, 11 assisted tackles, seven tackles for loss, two interceptions and three pass breakups in the regular season.

Justin Shields, Jake Edmonds, Jamal Fox.

Tri-County Press All Stars
Tucker Berger: Linebacker was second in the Cincinnati Hills League in tackles with 127 in the regular season. Berger added 15 more tackles in the Cowboys’ playoff game. He also had a sack and two fumble recoveries and was first-team All-Cincinnati Hills League.

Jake Edmonds: Edmonds was sixth in the CHL in receiving yard with 28 catches for 378 yards and nine touchdowns. He also ran for 92 yards and a score, had 23 defensive tackles and averaged 11.8 yards on punt returns and 15 yards on kickoff returns. Edmonds was first-team All-CHL.

Eric Perry: The 6-foot-3 265 pound two-way lineman was first-team All-CHL, leading the offensive line and adding a pair of tackles on defense.

Mason Rogers: The receiver/defensive back was first-team All-CHL. He had 13 receptions for 251 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 222 yards and two scores. Defensively, he had 46 tackles and two interceptions. He also averaged 26.6 yards on kickoff returns.

Justin Shields: Shields was the second-leading rusher in the CHL with 1,343 yards and 20 touchdowns. Out of the backfield he had eight catches for 139 yards and a score. Shields made CHL first team.

Girls Cross Country 
First Team
Whitley Elsass: The junior came in 25th at the regional meet with a time of 19:57.5.

Honorable Mention
Riley Bahr, Danielle McKee, Lily Parker

Tri-County Press All Stars
Whitley Elsass: Elsass was the CHL Runner of the Year and had the second best time in the league with a 19:46.70 at the CHL meet. Wyoming was sixth at the Division II regional meet at Troy with Elsass finishing 25th in 19:57.5.

Danielle McKee: McKee was CHL first team and had the third best time in the league with a 20:11.50 at the CHL meet. McKee finished 39th at the Division II regional meet in 20:31.3.

Boys Cross Country
First Team
Cullen O'Brien: The senior placed 44th at the regional meet with a time of 17:08.6.

Tri-County Press All Stars
Cullen O’Brien: O’Brien had the fourth best time in the league with a 16:45.40 at the CHL Championship to make CHL first team. O’Brien was 44th at the Division II regional meet at Troy in 17:08.6.

Girls Golf
First Team
Lucy Walton: Qualified for the Division II district tournament at PipeStone.

Second Team
Kayla Wilson: Qualified for the Division II district tournament at PipeStone.

Elizabeth Fischer: Qualified for the Division II district tournament at PipeStone.

Sydney Wellman: Qualified for the Division II district tournament at PipeStone.

Tri-County Press All Stars
Cooper Hausfeld: Hausfeld had the top average in the CHL with a 39.43 to be named CHL Golfer of the Year and first team.

Sam Marty: Marty had the second-best average in the CHL at 39.79 for the league champion Cowboys.

Girls Soccer
First Team
Kayla Hampton: was second-team all-state and first-team all-CHL. She had 12 goals and three assists.

Second Team
Casey Jervier: was first-team all-CHL with 16 goals and two assists.

Tri-County Press All Stars
Kayla Hampton: Hampton was seventh in the CHL in scoring with 12 goals and three assists to make CHL first team.

Casey Jervier: Midfielder was Wyoming’s top scorer with 16 goals and two assists. Jervier made CHL first team.


Boys Soccer
First Team
Andrew Derge: A second team all-Ohio selection and first team all-CHL pick. He led the CHL with 23 goals.
Jay Klein: Named second team all-Ohio and first team all-CHL alongside Derge. Klein led the CHL in points (69) by scoring 21 goals with 27 assists; the latter ranked second in the city.

Second Team
Ethan Wayman: The goalkeeper had 9.5 shutouts and was selected first team all-CHL.

Honorable Mention

Tri-County Press All Stars
Andrew Derge: Forward/midfielder was second in the CHL in scoring with 52 points on 23 goals and six assists. Derge was CHL first team.

Jay Klein: Forward/midfielder was the top scorer in the CHL with 21 goals and 27 assists to make CHL first team.

Tristan Kovach: Midfielder was ninth in the CHL in scoring with 11 goals and nine assists to make CHL first team.


Ethan Wayman: Goalkeeper had 77 saves and nine shutouts for the Cowboys to make CHL first team.
