Boys Basketball

It was a first half game as the varsity beat Finneytown 62-41 and moves to a 9-1 record.   Hitting on 9 of 11 3 pointers, 4 by Joey Edmonds, in the first half, the Cowboys led 42-24 at half.  As usual, defense played an important role.  It is strong and continues to get better.
Bill Ries word not enough for you?

Buoyed by Moey Mitchell's 18 points and Max Mariel's 13, the JV's won 57-37 over Finneytown.  They out rebounded the Wildcats by 11 and created 22 turnovers in another well played game at home.

(As our requests for news from the Middle School teams have fallen on deaf ears, we're going to try some reverse psychology and see what we get.)
Please DON'T send us your Middle School Boys Basketball team reports or pictures.  We really DON'T want to see them. Those athletes DON'T deserve any time in the spotlight.  DON'T send those reports and stories to wyoroundup@gmail.com

Thanks to Bill Ries for the reports, and,
Thanks to Rod Apfelbeck and Kara Pendery for the great pictures.
