Heartbreaker for the Girls Varsity Soccer

Saturday, October 20th, the Varsity Girls Soccer Team faced Norwood in a post-season tournament game.  Peter Levick sent in this report.

The girls played hard leading for much of the 2nd half 1-0 but Norwood tied it up with about 12 minutes to go. No one could score in either of the two overtime periods so the game went to a shootout which Norwood won 3-1.

Oh, no! It was caught!

But wait, proving the one lesson I learned in Shop Class, "if it don't fit, force it " , #2 Adi Smith forces ball, goalie, and all else into the back of the net.

In a stroke of scheduling genius, the monthly meeting of the Wyoming Shutterbums Photography Club was held at the soccer game.  Their embroidered jackets should be in next week.
