Fifth-ranked Wyoming finished ninth and No. 6 Taylor 11th in the 12-team field, which was led by defending state-champion Dayton Chaminade-Julienne. Kettering Alter finished second and Versailles third.
Cowboys’ coach Ultan Killean was pleased with Wyoming’s effort, especially senior Sarah Sawin, who finished at 57-50 – 107.
“They all practically played their best rounds,” he said. “Sarah definitely played one of her best rounds. She was putting like a fiend.”
