Boys Soccer Steamrolls Goshen

On Tuesday, October 16th, the Boys Soccer team defeated the Goshen Warriors.

From Coach Thomas,

Nathan Meisner and Drew Wayman each scored 2 goals in leading the Wyoming Men's Soccer Team past Goshen 9-0 in the first round of the Division II Sectional Tournament. Other players scoring were Otto Warmbier, Matthew Lethander, Nolan Prevish, David Weinrich and Jared Heidotting. Assisting on the goals were Ryan Derge (2), Nolan Prevish (2), David Weinrich, Daniel Richtand, Benji Kriner, Otto Warmbier and Evan Ammerman.

Harrison Glover made 4 saves while recording his 11th Shut-out of the season.

 

I skim over a lot of the things I read.  So for those of you skimming - just to make sure you understand - the 9-0 score you just saw was a SOCCER score.  WOW! 9 points is more than the team has allowed all season! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm sure the Goshen goalie was having a depressing night. 

I was a little suprised by the group hug though.
