Softball tames Taylor 5-3

The softball team beat Taylor last night 5-3.

Gabby Potvin (6-3) picked up the win for the Cowboys.

Leading the offense was Audra Chalmers, who went 4-4.  Also doing damage with the lumber (I know it's not really lumber) were Clara Merten, who was 2-4, Katie Horn, who was also 2-4 and had a pair of RBI's, and Carly Heuer, who was 3-4 with one run batted in.

Next up: Monday at Deer Park at 4:30.  Deer Park is 9-1, having lost its first game of the season yesterday 8-6 against Reading.
