The Wyoming High School Ultimate Frisbee team, the Jackrabbits, scored wins the last two Sundays, nipping Walnut Hills 7-6 on 4/3, and beating Princeton 11-7, to run its record to 4-1, good for second place in the Cincinnati Youth Ultimate High School League’s C division.
Sophomore Eric Reichwein paced Wyoming’s win against Princeton with three scoring throws and two goals scored, while sophomore David Weinrich completed four scoring tosses and freshman Sam White had two scoring throws and one goal scored.
By virtue of the win, Wyoming will play its final game of the season against a B division team, and is well positioned to move a team to the higher division next season.
Wyoming’s season continues with a rematch against Walnut Hills on Sunday, April 17 at 2:00 at Oak Park. The public is invited.
