Baseball splits opening double-header

PLAY BALL!!

The baseball team split its opening double header with Little Miami yesterday, losing the first game 6-5 and taking the second 6-0.

Junior shortstop Max Kadish had a big day at the plate, going 5-7 on the day with four runs scored and 3 runs batted in.

Junior Chris Campbell contributed 2 RBI in the first game.

In the second game, freshman Casey Howell threw a 5-hit, complete game shutout.

Nick Burns had a double in the second game.

Will Marty scored two runs in the victory (in part by not getting picked off first).
