Softball defeats Taylor

The softball team defeated Taylor yesterday afternoon 11-1 in five innings.  ("Five innings" is code for the fact that the other team got "run ruled" or "mercy ruled.")

Gabby Potvin recorded nine strikeouts on the way to her 2nd win of the season.

Leading the way at the dish were Patty Williams, who went 2-4 with a pairs of doubles, Madi Stephens who was also 2-4, Audra Chalmers who was 2-4 with a double, and Katie Horn was was 2-3 with a double and 4 RBI's.

Next up: double-header today if they were able to get them in.  Monday at Taylor at 4:30.
