Girls basketball defeats Finneytown 65-53, advances to District Finals

The girls basketball team fought off Finneytown by a score of 65-53 Saturday afternoon to advance to the District Finals vs. Kettering Alter, which is ranked #3 in the state.

Nikki McKee turned in another scintillating performance, scoring 33 points on 14-21 shooting from the field, one more point than her season high from the previous game.  She didn't stop there though, grabbing eight rebounds, making six steals and two assists.

Michelle Jolson also was in double figures, scoring twelve as well as dishing out five assists.  Hailee Schlager added ten points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists.  Sudy Graham led all rebounders with nine.

Next up: aforementioned Kettering Alter, at Mason on Friday the 5th at 7 PM.
