The girls basketball team won at Reading on Tuesday night 70-26. The game was never close with the Cowboys jumping out to a 24-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 44-14 halftime margin.
The win improves their record to 10-3, 7-2 in the CHL.
Nikki McKee led the scoring with 22. She also had 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. Also coming up big were Michelle Jolson and Hailee Schlager, who each scored 12 including 2 three pointers a piece. Rounding out the scoring were Emily Fraik with 10, Jane Streeter with 8, and Jenni Marck, Clara Rodrigue, and Shannon O'Hara, each with a deuce. Emily led the team with 10 rebounds.
Next up: Mariemont at home tomorrow night - JV at 6, Varsity at 7:30.
