Spring must be here because the Boys Varsity Tennis team season has finally started!
This year, the team is anchored by seniors Myles Bourbon (captain), Will Carter (captain), and Kieren Thomas (captain); juniors Jay Klein, Nolan Morley, Chris Murray, and Alex Sfyris; freshman George Arenas; and Coach Laurie Hoppenjans.
The season started with a scrimmage match versus Lakota at home on a beautiful Wednesday (3/25). Also seeing action during the match were Henry Cartwright and Trevor Payne. Since it was a scrimmage, there was no official score; but I think the team the team is looking good (of course, I may be a little biased).
The regular season gets into full action right after Spring Break, so stay tuned for more updates.
