Jen Hays sent in a report from the JV Boy's Soccer Team game against the Talawanda Braves on Saturday.
The Junior Varsity Boys soccer team remains undefeated after playing the Talawanda Braves on Saturday evening. The Cowboys dominated in play the first half of the game, but couldn't seem to find the back of the net. However, the second half was a different story. Around the 33rd minute of the second half Jay Klein started the ball rolling (no pun intended) with a fantastic goal. The Braves tried to fire back only to see a great save by Wyoming goalie Henry Cartwright. During the 26th minute Chris Veins made an exciting header into the goal off of a corner kick by Matthew Lethander. The Cowboys continued to dominate the game right until the end, with goals by Marshall Hays in the 8th minute and Sam Izenson during the 3rd minute. The boys face a tough opponent in Indian Hill on Tuesday, Sept. 11th at Indian Hill at 5:00. Go Cowboys!
Thanks for the report, Jen! Make sure you come out and help to keep the momentum going.
