Girls JV Tennis Week in Review

The Girls’ JV tennis team had 2 close matches this week.  They defeated CCD 3-2 and lost to Maderia 2-3.

Against CCD
Alison Norris def. McAlevey 6-2, 7-5
Marie Lippert def. Hoenemeyer 6-3, 6-0 (she rocked the court!)
Gross-Hutton def. Rachael Carter in a nail- biter third set tiebreaker.  Rachael was awesome!
 
Marchella Domka and Molly Izenson lost 1-6, 0-6
Kalyxa Roman and Sydney Barth won 6-3, 6-4
 
Against Maderia
Marcella Domka def. McQueary 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (way to fight Marcella!)
Wood def. Paige Arenas 2-6, 3-6
Huang def. Sydney Barth 3-6, 1-6
 
Genevieve Pecsock and Blair Tieger lost 4-6, 5-7 but gave a great showing and played outstanding!
Kalyxa Roman and Molly Izenson played out of their minds and won 6-1, 5-7, 6-3

Unless I'm mistaken, they play again on September 25th at home against Indian Hill.
