This afternoon, the WHS Boys Varsity Golf team posted a 4 stroke victory in the CHL Championship held at Sharon Woods. With the victory, Wyoming earned the outright CHL Championship for this season. Sophomore Stephen Cholvat posted a career best 79 to lead the team. Stephen also finished 3rd overall out of 42 players in the tournament. Sophomore Johnny Hughes posted an 80, while juniors Chris Betagole and Henry Moore rounded out the Cowboys scoring with a pair of 82's. Attached is a picture of the team right after they were crowned champions.
A special thanks to all of the team parents who came out today to walk the course with the team. We had no penalty strokes today, which was clearly a huge difference for the team.
