Ridenour and Pitman Scholarship Awards

It's time to start thinking about the Ed Ridenour and Gene Pitman Booster scholarships for 2012.  The criteria have changed so please read below for the updated information on each of the scholarships.

Ed Ridenour Scholarship Award

To recognize that senior girl and boy who demonstrated continuous athletic excellence coupled with scholastic performance, character & community involvement.

Award - $1500.00

1) Any member of the senior class who will have completed at least two continuous years of work at Wyoming High School.
2) Excellence in one sport for two full years.
3) An academic average of at least 3.5 GPA (7 semester cumulative)
4) Character, leadership, sportsmanship and community involvement as defined on the application.

Gene Pitman Scholarship Award

To recognize that senior girl and boy who demonstrated continuous athletic excellence, leadership, and sportsmanship as defined on the application.

Award - $1500.00

1) Any member of the senior class who will have completed at least two continuous years of work at Wyoming High School.
2) Outstanding excellence in one sport for two full years.
3) Leadership, sportsmanship and outstanding athletic achievement as defined on the application.
