After having its would-be opener on Saturday switched to Loveland and then rained out, the baseball team had its actual opener yesterday and put a 15-4, six-inning shellacking on Monroe.
Henry Moore pitched two innings and Casey Howell threw four. Casey had 6 K's and gets the win.
Senior Max Kadish led the offense, going 3-5 at the plate. Daniel Gilbert also had a strong offensive performance, going 2-4.
Next up: home opener this afternoon vs. Talawanda at 5 PM.

What a great way to start the season. The defense was an excellent back up for the pitchers, who did a fine job as well. Congrats Cowboys. Good Luck throughout the season.
