Relay for Life Kick Off

Wyoming’s second annual 'Relay for Life' event is quickly approaching, and to help the community learn more about the event, a Kick Off is being held on Thursday March 15th, in Wyoming High School’s Pendery Center at either 3:30 pm, or 7 pm. The entire community is invited to join this Wyoming High School student-led committee to learn more about why we Relay, and the important impact we have in the battle against cancer.

'Relay for Life' is a life-changing fundraiser, culminating in an 18 hour, overnight, relay-style event being held at the A-Field at the High School. The event will begin on Friday, June 1st at 6 pm, ending Saturday the 2nd at noon. Teams walk the track in shifts throughout the night, symbolizing the difficult stages of battling cancer. The entire community is encouraged to make or join a team and participate in this very special event.

Cancer has affected all of us in some way, and it is time to fight back. Please help us kick off ‘Relay 2012’ on Thursday March 15th in Wyoming High School’s Pendery Center at either 3:30 or 7 p.m. There will be information on how to sign up, a survivor tribute, and more.

Together, we can make this a huge success. Hope to see you there!
