Girls' basketball loses opener

The girls' basketball team lost its opener last night to #1 ranked Badin, 49-32.

Michelle Jolson led the scoring with 16 points.

Marta Stewart had eight, Clara Rodrigue four, and Mary Tess Irvine and Morgan Cunningham two each.

Badin showed great respect for the girls, full-court pressing until the final horn.

Next up: Saturday at North College Hill, JV at Noon, Varsity at 1:30.
