Run for the Kids
Despite bitterly cold temperatures, runners and walkers of all ages came out to participate in the 3rd Annual Run for the Kids on November 1st. This fun costume run supporting Wyoming Youth Services was held at the Wyoming Recreation Center directly before the Haunted trail. A record number of participants arrived, bundled up for the race, and a few brave and festive runners wore their Halloween costumes despite the cold!

The Lenning family swept a few awards of the evening as “best group” costume “The Incredibles” and Patty Lenning came in first in her age group. The Snowden family had a night of “firsts” as they each ranked first in their age groups. Austin Snowden was 1st place male at the middle school, Julia Snowden came in 1st place female at the high school, and Jason Snowden was the 1st male for Adults to age 50. George White, President of the Board of Trustees of Wyoming Youth Services, went all out as “Superman” to receive “Best Individual” in the costume category.
