Soccer Short Against Walnut Hills

Jen Hays reported from the Boys Soccer season opener on Saturday, August 16th:

The Wyoming Men's Varsity soccer team had their season opener on Saturday.  The Cowboys played well the first half holding off Walnut Hills until the final two minutes of the half when Walnut Hills scored two goals.  After halftime, the guys just couldn't seem to regroup, leaving it open for Walnut Hills to score two more goals in the second half.  Jay Klein did come through with a beautiful far post shot and goal.  But the Cowboys ended up falling a bit short and losing to Walnut Hills 4-1.

 

Valiant effort guys! 

Next game is Tuesday, August 19th at home vs. Princeton High School.  

JV plays at 5:00.  

Varsity plays at 7:00.  

Come on out and route them on.
