Wrestling splits at Bethel-Tate Super Tri-Meet

The wrestling team traveled to Bethel Tate yesterday for a Super Tri-Meet. Bethel Tate, Blanchester, and Wilmington were there as well as the Cowboys. Wyoming (ranked 6th in the city) came away with one win and one loss.

Wyoming beat Bethel Tate (ranked #4 in the city) and lost to Wilmington (ranked #9 in the city).

Daniel Zimmerman recorded his 50th career win in his first match, and then earned his 51st in his next one.

Mikey Gonzalez and Corbin Guggenheim continued to climb their way into the top 10 of all-time wins in Wyoming history. Mikey currently has 79 career wins and Corbin has 77 in his career.  (Adam Blum is not far behind with 73). Next to pass on the list is their very own coach, Brian Pitman (who ended his career with 81). The boys passed Coach Todd Siler in late December/early January.
