Softball downs Deer Park

The softball team defeated Deer Park on Friday 4-1.

It was 1-1 in the fifth when Lillian Krekeler came up to bat with the bases loaded.  She had already doubled in the Cowboys' first run.  Her second double of the game scored all three base runners to establish the final margin of victory.  Clara Rodrigue scored two runs in the game.

Gabby Potvin fanned nine Deer Park batters on the way to her 9th win of the season.

The girls are now in a tie with Finneytown atop the CHL with a 9-2 league record.
