Baseball loses to Madeira in extras

The baseball team lost a close one Friday at home against Madeira.

The final was 4-3 in nine innings.  Wyoming almost won it in the bottom of the 8th however.  With runners on 1st and 2nd, Joe Panos singled to the outfield.  It took a nearly perfect throw from the outfielder to nail Adam Chalmers at the plate.

Adam had already homered and made a great, diving catch in right field.

Also leading the way on offense were Max Kadish, who was 2-3 with a double, and Robert Gomez, who was 2-5.
