Girls' lax loses narrowly to Centerville

 

The girls' lacrosse team lost a close one Friday night, going down to Centerville 14-13.

 

 

The Cowboys led by five 10 minutes into the second half but couldn't quite hold on.

Wyoming goals were scored by Laura Cress (2), Carly Levick (3), Mary Jane Fischer (1), Julie King (4), Emily Hughes (1), Mary Tess Irvine (1) and Marta Stewart (1).

 

The JV lost to Centerville 2-10 with one goal each by Megan Schneider & Lexie Miller.

 

Next up: JV plays at Fairfield Monday, while the Varsity plays at Centerville vs. Dayton Club.  Wednesday home vs. McAuley.
