The girls basketball team improved its record to 3-1 last night by winning at Madeira by a score of 39-28. The Cowboys got off to a big 24-8 halftime lead before letting Madeira make it a little interesting by closing the gap to 6 at the end of the third. Then the girls closed it out with a 12-7 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Nikki McKee led the scoring with 14 points trailed by Hailee Schlager with 11.
Next up: Monday at Goshen (JV at 6, Varsity at 7:30)
