Boys basketball opens with loss at Reading

The boys basketball team started the season last night with a 43-39 loss at Reading.  Reading is now 3-0 on the season.  Jacob Allsop led the Cowboys with 14 points, with Kyle Seyfried adding 10 and Tony Davis 9.

The Roundup is assuming that both the boys and girls basketball teams will be a little slow out of the blocks this year as both teams got late starts practicing because of the very successful, and thus long, seasons for girls soccer and football.

Next up: Home vs. Mariemont on Monday. (Frosh at 4:30, JV at 6:00, Varsity at 7:30)
