This Time With Pictures

Having cheered on the boys team at Districts the day before, the Wyoming Cowgirls were ready for their meet!! The girls swam strong and the District meet held time drops for everyone and some personal bests!
Leading the Cowgirls were Sr. swimmers: Caroline Duke, Cambray  Smith, Camille Wilson and Daria Oberholzer.

Caroline Duke placed 8th in the 200 free and 9th in the 100 free.
Daria Oberholzer placed 21st in the 200IM and 23rd in 100 breast
Cambray Smith 1st alternate for swimming, 1st place in team spirit!!
Camille Wilson placed  21st in 50 free, 24th in 100 free

Lone Jr. swimmer Sami Abel swam 50 fly on the 200 medley relay along with Golden, Oberholzer, and Wilson. The relay placed 16th at the meet.

Speedy  Sophomores

Sarah Washienko placed 11th in 100 free and 15th in  200 free

And Fantastic Freshman
Anne Marie Criddle placed 22nd in the 500 free and 23rd in the 200 free.
Lia Thomas placed 12th in 100 free, and 14th in 50 free (Keep in mind Lia was injured and out of the water for more than half the season, and unable to swim butterfly. Imagine how she will do next season!!)

The girls also swam a 200 free Relay (Washienko,Wilson,Thomas, Duke) which placed 7th. All fingers crossed this relay will make it to State!!

Congratulations on a great meet!!
No, you're not going crazy.  Well I guess I can't really say that for certain, but in this instance, you're right. You have read this before. I somehow got the pictures to post, so I thought I'd put them in context with the full report.
Thanks to the Dukes for the pictures, and
Thanks again to Valerie Barrett for the report.
