Slippery Swimmers Stroke of Success

The Wyoming Cowboys sent 9 boys to the district meet on Friday Feb 14.  The team had an OUTSTANDING MEET, with all swimmers getting personal best times, many state qualifiers and an overall team finish of 2nd place only 1 point behind Oakwood, the 1st place team.  The Cowboys were led by Sr. swimmers, Jonathan Rutter, Matthew Lethander, and Carson Skidmore.
Jonathan Rutter finished 1st in the 200 IM and 100 breast, setting league records in both events!!!!!
Matthew Lethander finished 7th in the 100 breast and 10th in the 100 free.
Carson Skidmore finished 16th in the 200 free and 16th in the 500 free.

The Jr. boys were jazzed as well!
 Max Chou finished 5th in the 100 fly and 9th in the 200 free.
Ian Nyberg finished 8th in the 100 fly and 12th in the 200 IM.
Abe Wickstrom finished 23 rd in the 200 IM.
Stephen Barrett finished 4th in the 500 free and 7th in the 200 free.

Sophomore standout
Christopher Rutter finished 6th in the 100 and 8th in the 200 IM

and the fab Freshman
Carson Burt finished 5th in the 100 free and 6th in the 200 free

3 relay teams finished strong, and will most likely head to state as well!

200 medley relay (J. Rutter,Lethander, Nyberg , C.Rutter) finished 4th.
200 free relay (Burt,Chou, Lethander,C.Rutter) finished 4th.
400 free relay (Barrett,J. Rutter,Chou, Burt) finished 3rd.

Way to go Cowboys!!
