BIG Finish at State

In this age of texting on microscopic keypads in 140 characters or less, when you abbreviate "Cross Country" down to two letters, is it CC or XC?  I mean, don't get me wrong, C is a good solid letter, especially when it's used to kick off the word CHAMPION.  But X might be one of the coolest letters ever.  Obviously I'm in the XC camp.  However, I've been known to be wrong a time or three.  Where do you stand?

Coach Glendenning filed the following report from the State Cross Country Meet.

The boys team capped an amazing fall with team and individual record-breaking performances on their way to a 4th place finish in Saturday's state meet at National Trail Raceway!  This was the best team performance in school history, and Ben Stites was the highest-placing individual in program history, finishing in 6th place. The team climbed from 13th at the mile mark (309 points) to 12th at mile 2 (220 points) all the way to 4th at the finish with 184 points.  In all, our athletes combined to pass 190 team and individual runners between mile 1 and the 5k finish line.

Full results, including mile splits and finish line videos, are available at Finish Timing.

Congratulations to everyone on our boys and girls teams for an incredibly successful season!
