One for the Record Books

Some of just can't let the season go.  You know it's bad when a Booster (to remain nameless) was seen last Friday night flipping imaginary burgers over an unlit grill at Bob Lewis Sadium.  So for those of you who can't go cold turkey, here is a gridiron step-down patch.  I'll give you a chance to relive the thrill-a-minute season that was 2012.  Here are the names that went into the record book

Most Rushing TDs in a Game - Terrell Dailey in an 8 way tie for 5th place with 4
Most Passing Attempts in a Game - Will Marty took the top spot this season with 42, just ahead of his own 2nd and 3rd place records from 2011
Most Passing Attempts in a Season - Will Marty took the 2nd place spot, again just ahead of his own 3rd place record from 2011
Most Passes Completed in a Game - Will Marty now in 1st place with 26
Most Passes Completed in a Season - Will Marty took the 2nd place record
Best Passing Completion in a Season - Will Marty landed in 3rd place
Most Yards Passing in a Game - Will Marty hit the 2nd place spot
Most Yards Passing in a Season - Will Marty is also in 2nd place spot here
Most TDs Passing in a Game - Will Marty is in a tie for 1st with 6.  He is also in the books for games with 4 and 3
Most TDs Passing in a Season - Will Marty landed in 2nd
Most Pass Receptions in a Game - Ben Kurtz caught the top spot with 13.  Ben is also holds the 3rd and 4th spot with 9, and Bilal Dawson is in a big tie for the 5th spot with 8
Most Pass Receptions in a Game - Ben Kurtz earned the 2nd place record
Most Pass Receptions in a Career - Ben Kurtz finishes in 3rd place
Most Yards as a Receiver in a Game - Ben Kurtz now holds the top spot with 301
Most Yards as a Receiver in a Season - Ben Kurtz made 3rd place
Most Yards as a Receiver in a Career - Ben Kurtz stops at 3rd place
Most FGs made in a Season - Dawson Rogers is in 5th place
