"The Cowboys must replace seven first and second team All-CHL selections, but they do return 10 players that earned league laurels from a squad that earned the program’s 20th playoff berth. Expectations are high. Junior QB Andrew Marty (6-4, 205) returns after throwing for 1,409 yards and 14 TDs last season. He also ran for 224 yards and three TDs. Senior RB Justin Shields (5-8, 190) joins Marty in the backfield where he ran for 769 yards and 15 TDs a year ago. Wyoming must replace its top two WRs but look for junior Jake Edmonds (5-11, 180/22 rec., 253 yards, TD) to fill that role. The OL will be especially strong with the return of seniors Eric Perry (6-3, 260/4-year starter), Eddie Warren (6-3, 250/3-year starter), Hogan Baird (6-0, 260) and Sam Storm (6-4, 220). Senior DB Mason Rogers (6-0, 180/28 tackles) returned two of his five INTs for TDs last season. Senior LBs Tucker Berger (5-9, 195/126 tackles) and Max Tash (6-1, 180/89 tackles, three FF) and senior linemen Ken Larkin (6-4, 210/72 tackles), Cooper O’Gara (5-11, 270/62 tackles) and Jamal Fox (6-3, 220/34 tackles) lead the front seven. Head coach Aaron Hancock is 25-8 in three years."
