The start of the Ohio High School Boys golf season is slated for Thursday, August 1, 2013. This year’s tryouts for the WHS Boys teams (Varsity and JV) will follow this schedule:
Day 1 – Thursday, 8/1 @ Glenview Golf Course, first tee time is 9 AM. We will be playing 9 holes. Cost is $14 / player including a Hamilton Country Junior Golf Pass which can be re-used for discounts on future rounds.
Day 2 – Friday, 8/2 @ Sharon Woods Golf Course, first tee time is 7 AM. We will be playing 9 holes. Cost is $10 / player.
Day 3 – Monday, 8/5 @ Wyoming Golf Club, first tee time is 3:30 PM. We will be playing 9 holes. There will be no cost for this round.
It takes approximately 2 – 2.5 hours to play 9 holes, so players should plan their schedule accordingly. Players should be sure to make arrangements for food and drink before / during / after each round. The weather will likely be very warm on these days, so players need to plan appropriately to avoid a crash due to hunger or thirst.
