This Week in Boy's JV Soccer

From George White,

The Wyoming Boys Reserve soccer team won their first two games this week, 2-1 over Lebanon and  a dominating 6-0 win over Edgewood.  Sophomore Toby Varland and Freshman Jay Klein each scored for the Cowboys at Lebanon, and freshman goalie Marshall Hays had several nice saves to preserve the win.  In their home opener,  the Cowboys kept it in the offensive end almost the entire game, with goals scored by freshmen Joe White (2) and Tristan Kovach, and sophomores Varland,   Matthew Lethander, and Sam Ivenson.  Assists came from freshmen Charlie Oliver (2) and Nolan Morley, and sophomores Varland and Ryan Knapp.

The Cowboys return to action at home on Tuesday, August 28 against league rival Mariemont; the   reserve game is at 5 and the varsity at 7.
