Nikki McKee Division II Girls' Basketball State Co-Player of the Year

Nikki McKee has been selected as Co-Player of the Year for girls' basketball Division II for the state of Ohio.  She shares the honor with Chelsie Butler of Minerva (full all-state listing here.)

Nikki adds this honor to CHL Co-Player of the Year, District 16 Player of the Year and Southwest District Player of the Year.

Nikki averaged 23.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 5.0 steals, 2.3 assists and 1.0 block per game.  Full year stats can be found here.

She also outscored three of our opponents - scoring 24 points in our 45-22 win over Deer Park on January 14th, a season high 44 in our 69-35 win over Roger Bacon on January 27th, and 36 in our 55-35 win over Summit Country Day on January 31st.  She just missed a fourth, when in the December 8th game against Finneytown she scored 32 in our 57-33 win.

Lest we forget, Nikki was also All-City, first team all-CHL and first team all-Southwest District in soccer.

Note to McKee family - no promises but just to be safe you might want to set aside Wyoming's Hall of Fame weekend in 2026.
