Wyoming Whips Woodward

Saturday, December 6th, the Girls Basketball team played their home opener against Woodward with a 62-8 win.  It's a good thing it ended when it did.  If I remember the OHSAA rules correctly, after a 60 point lead, the winning team has to start playing with their shoelaces tied together.

Okay, so that was cutsie and all, but if you want to see more sportsy coverage, like how Emily Wadds (insert adverb and action verb) to (basketball verb) 24 of the 62 points herself, or how Haley Stewart (insert adverb and action verb) 5 steals, then you are going to have to come off the bench, like Maddie Martin who did and also had 5 steals, and send those details to the Round Up.

Or if think the sweetest candy is the type you steal from babies, and you snicker at the chumps who park at the far end of a full parking lot when you just park right there in the drive aisle, and if you don't care if these athletes get a little extra glory here on the Round Up, then maybe seeing a bunch of dry stats and numbers will bring an ounce of ehh to your dark soul-less life.  HERE you go, Ebeneezer.

But, of course, that's not you...is it.  You wouldn't be here if it were.
Thanks to Arch Cunningham for the great pictures.
